Domains
Managing the domains MXGuard protects.
Adding a domain
In the customer portal, go to Domains → Add domain and provide:
- Domain name — for example,
company.com - Target server — the hostname or IP of your mail server where clean mail should be delivered
- Target server port — usually 25 (SMTP) or 587 (SMTP Submission)
Multiple domains
One account supports an unlimited number of domains. Your plan is based on the total number of active mailboxes across all domains.
Each domain can have its own delivery target, filtering settings, and admins.
Subdomains
To protect mail for a subdomain (mail.company.com), add it separately and change the MX records for that subdomain.
Removing a domain
Restore the original MX records before removing a domain, or inbound mail will stop being delivered. Once a domain is removed from MXGuard, filtering stops immediately.
